Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I pay if the course fee exceeds KRW 350,000?
Any amount exceeding the lifelong education voucher support must be borne by the person himself/herself.
However, if the government subsidy exceeds KRW 350,000, you can pay with a voucher card only if the excess amount is deposited into the account linked to the voucher card (NH Nonghyup Bank account).
Q. Is it different from the Tomorrow Learning Card?
It is a separate system from tomorrow’s learning card.
Q. How long is the period of use?
The period of use of the Lifelong Education Voucher Card will be notified separately. Amount not used during the notice period automatically expires, and cannot be carried over to the following year or withdrawn in cash. Refunds are not available.
Q. Can I use the lifelong education voucher card and study related to the TOEIC Gwangjwa?
It is possible if it is a course provided by an institution using the lifelong education voucher. (e.g. Bakery, editorial, social worker)
Q. Can I check the voucher balance at an ATM (Automated Teller Machine)?
Lifelong education voucher support (KRW 350,000 per year) is paid in the form of electronic voucher charging, not cash payment. Therefore, it is not possible to check with cash at an ATM (automatic teller machine).
Since the lifelong education voucher is paid by e-voucher, not cash, once the support fund is charged, you can use the lifelong education voucher (lifelong education hope card) to pay the tuition within the charged amount at the institution using the voucher.
Q. Are there regional restrictions on the use of the Lifelong Education Voucher?
There are no regional restrictions on the use of Continuing Education Vouchers. If the institution is registered as a lifelong education voucher user, it can be used at institutions located outside of the current residence.
Q. Does applying for a lifelong education voucher affect my eligibility?
Application for a lifelong education voucher does not affect whether or not you hold the basic livelihood security recipient or the next lower class.
