2. Authenticate yourself (card authentication, i-PIN authentication, mobile phone authentication)
In the past, I-PIN authentication and mobile phone authentication were mainly used. Card authentication is also possible these days.
Curious, I tried to authenticate myself with card authentication.
1) In case of mobile phone authentication
– I use KT, and I mainly use the PASS certificate app to authenticate myself.
On this day, the pass certificate app did not work well, so I had to use card authentication.

Card identity verification services include Hyundai Card, KB Kookmin Card, NH Nonghyup Card, Lotte Card, Hana Card, Shinhan Card, BC Card, and Samsung Card.
Each card company has different benefits and point accumulation rates, so the amount of points converted into cash is likely to be different depending on the person who uses them.
I choose Shinhan Card because I use the Shinhan Card Paypan application.
Authenticate yourself using a card
There are two ways to verify your identity with the Shinhan PAYfan app card or with your card information.
Since my wallet is in a different room, I am annoyed by verifying my identity with the Shinhan Pay app card.
I think one of the bank/card applications that I personally use and are satisfied with is the Shinhan Pay app.
When you run the app card, you are prompted to select and authenticate.

Then it asks which card to authenticate with, and checks the card company and number again.
“Personal verification password [fingerprint authentication]” If you press this part, the Shinhan Card Paypan application opens, and you can easily verify your identity by fingerprint authentication in the application.
Then, lastly, it means “Is it really you?” and asks you to confirm your real name and enter the last digit of your social security number.
When you complete it, your identity verification is complete.
Since there are fewer, I think that cell phone authentication would have been easier.
3) Inquire about points by credit card company
In any case, if you verify your identity, the Credit Finance Association will show you the card companies that you can search for points.
You can check the points of Samsung Card, Shinhan Card, Hana Card, Hyundai Card, Kookmin Card, Nonghyup Card, Citi Card, Woori Card, and Post Office Card.
I used Shinhan Card points for shopping, so I thought it wouldn’t be there. Upon checking, 372 points were found.
I also found BC card points that I didn’t expect.
Points will expire in March 2021. I didn’t know.

4) Depositing Shinhan Card Point Cash, BC Card Point Cash into your account

Check total deposit request points and enter account number
When you check the total deposit request points and press the apply button, it asks which bank account you want to receive it.
Select your bank name and enter your account number.
Then, you can receive Shinhan Card Point Cash and BC Card Point Cash into your account.
The important thing here is to click “Authenticate” to go to the next step.
If your name and account are correct, you will immediately see that you have been authenticated.
5) Transfer card points to cash & check bankbook
Points have been credited to my account.
Then, if you check your account and apply for a point deposit, you will see “Account deposit application successfully completed” for each card company.
If you go into the bank account you applied for, you can see that points were successfully transferred to cash from Shinhan Card and BC Card.
