As Microsoft Teams begins to gain popularity as a new video conferencing program, more and more people are using it, and more and more people are experiencing various problems with it.
In particular, there are frequent errors that make it impossible to upload an image by myself or download an image uploaded by another user in order to share images between users in a chat room activated in Microsoft Teams.
The issue of not being able to send or receive images persists to this day, and there is no official solution from Microsoft yet. But surprisingly, you can solve this problem with a few simple steps. Here’s a workaround:
· Share images with the web version of Microsoft Teams 마이크로소프트 팀즈 삭제
· Clear app/browser cache
· Check for updates to Microsoft Teams
· Change your device or web browser JFactory
How to apply each solution is as follows. Apply them one by one and check if the problem is solved.
What to do when I can’t send or receive Microsoft Teams images?
Solution 1. Share images with Microsoft Teams web version
1-1. If you need to share images right away, you can use the web version of Microsoft Teams. Just access the Microsoft Teams homepage (link), log in to your account, and share your image.
Solution 2. Clear app/browser cache
Clearing the PC version cache
2-1. Enter the following path in the run window (Win key + R) and run it.
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams
2-3. If you move to the teams folder, delete all subfolders and files in each folder of “Cache, Code Cache, Local Storage”.
Clear your web browser cache
2-4. After connecting to Microsoft Teams, there is a lock icon on the left side of the address bar. After clicking on it, click “Site Settings”. (This example is based on “Chrome”.)
2-5. Then click the “Clear browsing history” button to clear the Microsoft Teams cache.
Solution 3. Check for Microsoft Teams Updates
3-1. After running Microsoft Teams, click the “…” icon at the top, and then click “Check for updates” to check if the latest version is available and proceed with the installation.
Solution 4. Switch the device or web browser you use
4-1. If none of the previous methods work, you may need to change the device and browser currently using Microsoft Teams. For example, if you are connecting from a PC, change to a laptop, or if you are using the web version in Chrome, try connecting to Edge.
Teams is a collaboration and chatting app that helps Microsoft’s video conferencing and online classes.
It supports voice, video calls, text-based chats, group chats, calendar synchronization, and more. Teams is a competitor to services like ZOOM and Google Chat, an app that can replace Microsoft’s other product, Skype.
Hide the Teams taskbar icon
By default, Windows 11 displays a Teams conversation icon in the taskbar that looks like a purple word bubble with a camera icon inside.
To remove the Teams icon from the taskbar
Right-click on the taskbar and select “Taskbar Settings”.
On the Personalization > Taskbar page of Settings, expand the “Taskbar Items” section
Just toggle the switch next to “Conversation” to “Off”.
Remove Conversation from Windows 11 Taskbar
The chat icon immediately disappears from the taskbar. Note that this does not prevent Teams from running in the background, but it does make it invisible.
Remove Teams from Startup
Whenever Windows 11 turns on and you log into your user account, you will see Teams appear. You can also simply disable this in settings so that it doesn’t appear.
First, open the settings (shortcut key: Win + i).
When Settings appears, tap “Apps” in the sidebar, then select “Start”.
Start Apps in Windows 11 Settings
Startup Settings will show a list of “Startup apps” that run every time you log in, find “Microsoft Teams” in the list and toggle the switch next to it to “Off”
Disable Teams in Windows 11 Startup App
Then close settings.
If Teams is still running in the background, quit it by clicking the arrow next to the Speakers and Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
This method will still have Teams on the system, but Teams will not be relaunched unless you rerun it manually.
Uninstall Microsoft Teams
If you want to remove Microsoft Teams from your list of applications, do it very easily.
First, open the settings (shortcut key: Win +i).
In Settings, tap “Apps” and then select “Apps & Features”.
Apps and Features in Windows 11 Settings Apps
Scroll down in the list of apps and find “Microsoft Teams”.
Click the three vertical dots icon on the right and select “Remove”.
Uninstall Windows 11 Teams
Click “Uninstall” when a pop-up appears.
After a while, Microsoft Teams will disappear completely from the list of installed apps.
Teams isn’t completely gone from the system, as it’s an integral part of how the “Chat” taskbar icon works. If you don’t want Teams to come back again, please disable the “Chat” icon in the taskbar (see section above). Clicking on that icon will automatically reinstall Teams and undo all steps in the section above.
How to reinstall Microsoft Teams
If you need to uninstall and reinstall Teams, you can simply reinstall Teams with one click.
Even if I uninstalled Teams, it seems that Windows 11 can always reload the backup copy by clicking the “conversation” icon in the toolbar.
To reinstall Teams
Enable the taskbar dialog icon (if not already set) and click it.
To see the chat icon, open Settings > Personalization > Taskbar, expand “Taskbar Items” and click the switch next to it to set it to “On”.
When you install Windows 11, Microsoft Teams is automatically installed.
It’s called a chat thread-type business collaboration tool for businesses and schools, but we’ll just delete it because we don’t need it at all in the corner (?!).
