항공권 비교 사이트With the arrival of spring in February and March, the demand for travel increases. Naturally, the demand for overseas travel is also increasing, and air tickets are not cheap. Fortunately, these days, you can purchase tickets at a relatively low price through various methods, such as airlines’ own promotions, price discount tickets linked to social commerce, and early bird tickets. Today, I will introduce you to how to buy cheap air tickets and compare them.
1. Skyscanner, an airline ticket price comparison site
This is the main page of Skyscanner. You can easily find it by searching for ‘Skyscanner’ in a search engine such as Naver, Daum or Google.
Set round-trip, one-way, and multi-city, select the departure point, destination, departure date, return date (return), seat class, and options for passengers in turn, and click the Flight Ticket Search button.
In my case, I chose Departure = Seoul, Arrival = Jeju Airport, Departure Day = February, Return Day = February, and 1 adult. Then the calendar will appear like this:
Here comes the advantage of Sky Scanner. The point is that the lowest price on the departure date and the lowest price on the arrival date for each day of the month are displayed before selecting the exact schedule. Also, if you select a departure date, the lowest price for the arrival date that has been changed accordingly will be displayed.
Since other flight comparison sites fix the schedule and see the price, it is a hassle to find the lowest price by changing the schedule one by one. However, with Skyscanner, you can align your schedule with the time when you achieve the lowest price within a large period (eg the whole of February), so you can view airline tickets relatively quickly and conveniently.
I arbitrarily scheduled a departure on February 12 and an arrival on February 22. It shows the prices in order of recommendation, the lowest price, and the shortest travel time as follows, and lists the items. The red box on the left gives more detailed options and functions as a search filter, so you can find the flight you want according to detailed conditions.
2. Explore social commerce promotions
It is important to carefully look at the ticket promotions of representative social commerce sites such as WeMakePrice, Coupang, and Timon. There are early bird events, and special promotions that do not appear on flight comparison sites often appear. Therefore, it is recommended to check the lowest and approximate prices on a price comparison site such as Skyscanner mentioned above, and look for flight ticket promotions on social commerce.
Coupang Social Commerce’s special promotion for Jeju flights. You can see what various airlines are doing. Even if it’s not necessarily an early bird, it’s good to check often because it sometimes comes out at the lowest price.
Seizing a good opportunity, I went to Jeju Island for 9,900 won one way including fuel. As such, it is very important to take a chance when there is a good promotion by frequently checking domestic and international airline tickets that appear on social commerce sites such as Coupang, WeMakePrice, and TicketMon.
3. Others
There are good methods, whether it is Skyscanner’s lowest price comparison search or promotional purchase through social commerce, but the most probable method is actually ‘Early Bird’. If you purchase an air ticket for as short as 2-3 months or as long as 6-7 months from the present time, you can purchase it relatively cheaply. Especially overseas, it is better to prepare in advance because there are many early birds rather than general price promotions.
The second is the ‘last ticket’. Contrary to Early Bird, there are cases in which tickets are sold at a relatively low price to fill seats for tickets with only a few days left at the current time, or to sell tickets due to cancellations by existing customers. However, since you don’t know when a seat like this will come, there is fatigue from having to constantly monitor it ahead of your travel schedule. However, there are cases where they are sold at a lower price than early bird or promotion, so it is one way to look for a chance to get a last minute ticket.
