When I tried to delete the Instagram account I was using as a secondary account, I couldn’t easily find the delete menu. So, I would like to share how to delete an Instagram account for those of you who are wondering how to delete it like me.
▼ First, click on Instagram 1) your account at the bottom right, and 2) click the three line menu at the top right.
▼ When the bottom menu appears as shown below, select the [Settings] menu at the top.
▼ Select [Account] in the settings menu.
▼ Press [Delete Account] in the second menu.
▼ Here, select the [Delete Account] menu at the bottom.
▼ Select [Continue to delete account].
▼ You will be asked why you want to delete your account. Select the reason that applies to you.
▼ Enter your account password once more and click the [Delete Account ID] button at the bottom to complete. (At this time, you must make sure you are logged in with the account you want to delete.)
▼ I searched for the deleted ID using another account, but it is still searchable. (Instead, post photos, followers, and following are not visible.)
It seems that it will be completely deleted only after a month. It is said that account recovery is possible for one month.
