If you are resetting a non-OS product (a product released without Windows) due to problems such as Windows errors, you can easily reset it in Windows [Settings] even if you do not have a Windows installation USB.
When resetting, you have the options of [Keep my files] and [Remove all items]. If you select [Keep my files], your personal files will be kept and Windows will be reset.
If you select [Remove All Items], all programs and personal files installed by the user will be deleted and initialized.
For OS products (products released with Windows), you can easily reset your PC using the LG Recovery function, and you can also use the reset function in Windows [Settings].
※ Unexpected errors may occur. Please back up important user data to an external USB storage device.
1. Click the [Start] button on the taskbar and run the [Settings] icon.
2. On the [Settings] screen, click the [System] item on the left and then click the [Recovery] item at the bottom.
3. In [Recovery Options], click the [Reset PC] button.
4. A screen to select two options will appear.
If you click [Keep my files], Windows 11 will be reset while retaining files such as personal documents and photos, and if you click [Remove everything], all personal files, apps, and settings will be removed and Windows 11 will be reset.

1. When you select the [Keep my files] item, the [Additional settings] window will appear. Here, click the [Next] button.
2. A [Preparing] message window will appear.
3. In the [Ready to reset this PC] window, click the [View apps to remove] item.
4. When the [List of apps to remove] window appears, check which programs will be deleted from the PC and click the [Back] button.
※ If there is a program that should not be deleted, click the [Cancel] button to stop it.
5. In the [Ready to reset this PC] window, click the [Reset] button.
Your PC will restart.
6. The initialization process will begin and may take some time.
※ Please note that all user’s personal files and user-installed programs such as Hangul, Excel, and PowerPoint will be deleted.
Please note that after initialization is complete, an Internet connection is required in the initial personal settings environment and you must enter your MS account to proceed to the next step.
1. When the [Additional Settings] window appears, click the [Next] button.
2. In the [Ready to reset this PC] window, click the [Reset] button to proceed with the reset.
3. The [Preparing for Reset] window will open, and after a while, the PC will restart and initialization will proceed.
※ It may take some time depending on PC specifications and status.
4. After initialization is complete, the user environment settings screen will appear. Please click the description link below and refer to the information to complete the settings.
