Instructions for using SRT standing room
Those eligible to use standing tickets include standing tickets, regular/return tickets, and combined tickets (seating + standing).
There is no assigned seating for standing room only.
If there are no empty seats in the room (unavailable in special rooms), you can use the simple seats and aisles between carriages as long as they do not cause inconvenience to other customers.
If an employee on the train asks you to check your ticket, you must cooperate to use the train properly.
When using the train, you must have the original ticket (paper type). (Captures are not allowed)
Standing tickets can only be returned at the station counter.
If a standing ticket is lost, it cannot be reissued, changed, or returned as a ticket without a designated seat number in accordance with Article 15, Paragraph 1 of the Passenger Transport Terms and Conditions.

“This is information on reserving SRT tickets for the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday. For advance reservations that can only be made online (PC, mobile), the reservation-only website (https://etk.srail.kr) will be operated from Friday, January 12, 2024. . Persons with disabilities and disabled people can pre-register on the SR website, and even without registration, advance reservations are available for transportation vulnerable persons from Monday, January 15, 2024 to Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Holiday tickets are available between SR and KORAIL. It is sold only online, and various discount products and regular, multiplex, and group tickets are suspended during the target period. Tickets can be gifted, earned points, and used as discount coupons. Multiple reservations for trains in the same time slot are not allowed, and valid tickets are valid when boarding the train. Additional fares may be collected if you do not have a ticket. If you get off at an intermediate station, fares and charges for the remaining section will not be refunded.
