Let me explain what these terms mean.
Non-reserved seats are seats that can be freely seated in a designated non-reserved seat car.
If you look at the information above, car 18 is organized with 1 non-reserved seat, so if you make a reservation for non-reserved seats, you can pre-occupy the seats in car 18 and sit down.
Non-reserved seats are available only on weekdays and are not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
In addition, fares are discounted by 5% from economy class prices.
As shown above, if the text of ‘Standing + Seating’ is in dark color, it means that you can go to a specific section as a standing seat and in a specific section as a seat.
According to the information above, you can move from Seoul to Dongdaegu by standing seat, but from Dongdaegu to Busan you can sit in the 10B seat and move.

Standing seats cannot be purchased through Korail Talk, and can only be purchased at station ticket counters and automatic ticket vending machines.
