The target group is those who are under 65 years of age and in the middle-income bracket of 70% or less and who need housekeeping/care services for the following reasons.
① Severely disabled persons
② Severely ill persons requiring treatment for 6 months or more
(Severely ill persons as notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare, with a diagnosis or opinion issued within the last 3 months attached)
③ Patients with rare and incurable diseases
(Severely ill persons as notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare, with a diagnosis or opinion attached. However, if it is possible to check whether the special calculation exception has been registered through “Happy Eum,” it can be replaced with related data)
④ Families with children and adolescents, grandparent-headed families, single-parent families (legal protection households)
* In this case, the service recipients are children and grandchildren
⑤ Medical aid recipients under the age of 65 who have been discharged from long-term hospitalization case management
⑥ Other persons who the mayor of a city, county, or district recognizes as needing housekeeping and nursing services, such as persons with mild disabilities, long-term treatment due to illness or injury, within the scope of the budget

‒ It is recommended that families with children, grandparents, and single-parent families who apply for the home care and nursing service with the main purpose of supporting childcare for children aged 12 or younger use the ‘Childcare Service’ implemented by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family first

Cost payment unit timeThe service provision time is calculated in units of at least 30 minutes, and if the payment provision time is 15 minutes or more but less than 45 minutes → Calculated as 30 minutes
If the provision time is 45 minutes or more → Calculated as 1 hour * (Example) Service provided for 2 hours and 40 minutes → 2 hours 30-minute service fee payment

2023 Service price of recognized provider (family) (50%)

‒ When a city, county, or district allows the use of recognized provider personnel who are family members, or when a provider reports to the city, county, or district before using recognized provider personnel who are family members for the service, it must clearly notify (report) that it is a ‘family relationship’ so that a discounted voucher can be created
* When registering the contractor information, the provider must enter ‘Service provided by family members’ in ‘Matching Personnel Information’
※ The wages for the provider personnel must be paid at least 75% of the service price. · Physical support: Assistance with bathing, urination, toileting, dressing, washing, eating, etc.

· Housework support: Cleaning, meal preparation, childcare assistance, etc.
· Daily life support: Accompanying people out, companions, life counseling, etc.
The person in question, a relative or legal representative, or a public official in charge (ex officio application) can apply to the resident center of the person in question’s place of residence.
