Advantages of Climate Companion Card
The Gifu Donghaeng Card costs 65,000 won per month and allows unlimited use of all public transportation methods, including the Seoul subway, city and village buses, and Ttareungi. This card will be piloted from January to May 2024, and will be implemented in earnest in the second half of 2024 after supplementation work. The Gifu Companion Card allows unlimited use of all public transportation and Ttareungi within the Seoul area.
By introducing the Climate Companion Card, it is expected that 500,000 Seoul citizens will receive a discount of more than 340,000 won per person per year, and this benefit includes the use of Ttareungi. Benefits of using transportation
Subway You can use all subway lines 1 to 9, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Bundang Line, Gyeongchun Line, Uisinseol Line, and Sillim Line that board and disembark in downtown Seoul. However, the Shinbundang Line, which has a different basic fare, is excluded.
Bus You can use both Seoul city buses and village buses, but you cannot use buses from other regions such as Gyeonggi or Incheon or metropolitan buses with different basic fares, even within the Seoul area.
You can use the Ttareungi 1-hour ticket for unlimited use.
Hangang River Bus In the future, we plan to expand the operation of next-generation eco-friendly transportation methods such as river buses.
How to use the Seoul flat-rate transportation card
The Climate Companion Card can be used very easily after charging through a smartphone app or a separate physical card (KRW 3,000). You can recharge the card through a smartphone app or after purchasing a physical card, and you can then use the card easily. In addition, sales of the physical card are planned in the future, so more users will be able to use this card conveniently.
How to apply for the Seoul Climate Companion Card
The Climate Companion Card is scheduled to be implemented in earnest in the second half of the year after a pilot operation from January to May next year. It can be used by applying and charging through an app, and the physical card will be sold separately for 3,000 won in the future.
