Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program supports capacity improvement programs and mentoring so that Gyeonggi youth can materialize the project if they directly propose a project they want to do without any restrictions on the subject, and a subsidy to carry out the project through an interim check is also provided per person. What is the Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program?
We provide project support for career exploration to young people between the ages of 19 and 34 (born between January 1, 1988 and December 31, 2004) residing in Gyeonggi-do so that they can set their dreams, careers, and life directions. This is a project that supports job aptitude tests, capacity building training, and mentoring by field.

◆ Application period
– 2023.5.12.(Fri) 10:00 ~ 2023.5.31.(Wed) 17:00.* You can apply 24 hours a day during the application period. The deadline is until 17:00.

◆ Recruitment number
– 600 people (1st period 300 people, 2nd period 300 people)

◆ Application Qualifications
– As of the announcement date, the address on the resident registration is in Gyeonggi-do, and young people between the ages of 19 and 34 are eligible.* (Those born between 1988 and 2004)

● Evaluation method and distribution of points

● Selection details

– Through the 1st document screening, twice as many interview candidates are selected, and the final candidates are selected in the order of high scores according to the results of the 2nd interview.

* The evaluation score is calculated as an average by summing up the scores of all team members.

◆ Things to note when applying
● You must apply by carefully choosing between the 1st and 2nd semesters. (Duplicate applications are not allowed)

● If there is a discrepancy between the team leader and the team member’s application (number of students, project contents, etc.), the team leader’s submission will be regarded as the application.

● Be sure to check the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) before applying.

● Participants with the purpose of spreading the doctrines of a specific religion, or supporting/supporting a specific political party or elected candidate are excluded from selection.

● For all submitted documents, only documents issued after the announcement date are accepted.

● Submitted ideas or projects must be new projects that have not been awarded or introduced in other contests.

● During the project, the legal responsibility for disputes arising from plagiarism or infringement of other people’s works rests with the participant.

● Submitted documents will not be returned, and if plagiarism, false information (additional points, etc.) or other fraudulent methods are later discovered at the application stage, or if the support fund is used for a purpose other than the purpose after selection, cancellation of the selection of participants, withdrawal of the support fund, and relationship Actions may be taken in accordance with the law.

● Intellectual property rights and copyrights for all outputs generated from participation in the project belong to Gyeonggi-do, and when participants need to use them for other purposes, Gyeonggi-do and participants must mutually consult.
