So, this time, we are going to learn how to send reservation messages from iPhone and PC to KakaoTalk.
Send Kakao Talk reservation message
iPhone (iOS), PC

You need to upgrade KakaoTalk to the latest version.
Launch KakaoTalk, tap the “3 dots” on the bottom right, and then tap the gear-shaped “Settings” on the top right.
Then, click “Version Information” in Settings.

Sometimes, like my iPhone, v9.7 is the latest version.
As of today (22.5.21), the updated version is v9.8.1.
If the version is still below v9.8, be sure to go to the App Store and check it out.
On the iPhone, it was said to be the latest version, but in this case, “update” is possible.
Anyway, I updated my iPhone KakaoTalk…
Enter the chat window.
If you check the right side of the chat window, there is a “#” icon.

If you press “#”, “Schedule registration / To-do registration / Message scheduling / Briefing board” items are listed above the chat window.
Before the update, only several web search items were listed without the above content.
If you see items such as “Today’s Fortune” or “D-DAY” as in the picture on the left, it is not updated, so please check the version.
So, shall we make a message reservation?
Try pressing “#” to “Schedule Message” displayed at the top of the chat window.
Then, the Jordi character icon and the “Please reserve a message” window opens, and the “Message reservation” detailed settings below appear.
Now, after setting “Message to be sent” and “Date/Time/Destination/Reminder” in this window, click “Register” to finish sending KakaoTalk reservation message.
That’s easy, right?
When the reservation message is sent, the KakaoTalk message is sent at the set time.
Similarly, if you update to v9.8 on the PC version, you can use KakaoTalk reservation message sending.
For the update method, you can update to the latest version by clicking on “Settings” in the lower left corner of the PC version of KakaoTalk, then going to “Settings → About” and pressing “Update”.
When the update is complete, you will enter the PC version of KakaoTalk chat window.
Also, if you click the “Jordi” icon next to the emoticon and click “Reserve Message”, you can send a KakaoTalk reservation message in the same format as the iPhone mentioned above.
This time, we looked at sending reservation messages made possible by the KakaoTalk update.
In fact, one of the most frustrating parts of using KakaoTalk was sending this reservation message, and it was so good that this update quickly resolved it. However, it is a pity that it is not yet supported on Android.
As iOS and PC have applied KakaoTalk reservation message sending function, I wonder if it will be applied to Android KakaoTalk soon.
