What is the Youth Job Search Activities Support Fund?
This is a system that supports employment preparation costs for young people who are self-directed in their job search activities. We provide points worth 500,000 won per month for up to 6 months, and you can also receive employment programs and 1:1 employment counseling conducted within the employment center to help you find employment!
– Support target: Unemployed youth within 2 years of graduation or dropout among young people aged 18 to 34 from households with a household income of 120% or less (supported only once in a lifetime)

Q1. What is the income standard?
A: The income standard for youth job search activity support is households earning 120% or less of the standard median income. The average health insurance premium for the past three months must be less than the standard median income based on the number of household members. Household members are based on parents, parents, and the person themselves, and brothers and sisters can also be included in the household if desired.

Q2. Can I receive support if I apply for everything?
A: Depending on the budget exhaustion situation, the longer the period of time since graduation or dropout and the less experience of participating in similar projects among the applicants, the more priority will be given to them. (A total of 80,000 people supported in 2019)
In addition, after selection, you must fulfill mandatory requirements such as preliminary training (employment center, once), submitting monthly job search activity reports, and taking employment video classes to continue receiving support!
Q3. I am currently working part-time. Can I apply?
A: You can apply if you are working less than 20 hours a week as of the application date. (If working hours are less than 20 hours, it is considered unemployed)
Q4. Can I use my points right away after applying?
A: If you apply, screening and preliminary training will be conducted next month, and points will be paid for the first time the following month. (500,000 points scheduled to be paid monthly)
* Example: 4.1~30 application → 5.1~5.15 screening, 5.16~5.31 preliminary training (attend within 3 hours) → 6.1 first point payment
Q5. What products and services can I purchase with the card?
A: The use of subsidies is restricted to industries related to high-priced products and asset formation, such as entertainment, gambling, and adult products. In addition, if you spend a lump sum of 300,000 won or more, you must submit detailed usage details (receipt, reason, etc.), and since support is provided with points, cash withdrawal is not possible.
In other words, spending unrelated to employment is limited!!
