This is a wired and wireless Internet service quality measurement system provided by the National Information Society Agency. If you go to the site through the link and click the Internet speed icon, a message asking you to install a program will appear. Once you install it, the screen below will appear. Here, you can select the Internet line, speed, and region you are using and click the Measure button.

Then the speed starts to go back and forth and be measured. It is automatically measured one by one in the order of download, upload, and delay time. You can kindly compare the average speed of the same product with your current internet speed.

If the speed does not come out or fails during tests by each telecommunication company or the National Information Society Agency, you can receive compensation. The current regulations include an ‘Internet Quality Guarantee System’, which provides compensation if the Internet speed does not meet the standards.
The criteria for receiving compensation are almost similar for KT, LG U+, and SK Broadband, and fees are reduced if the contract speed is 30-50% or less. Additionally, if the speed reduction phenomenon is repeated and the discount has been reduced for more than 5 days in a month, the customer can cancel the contract without giving the discount refund.
