How to check your late payment history
You can check your delinquency record for free on the websites of KCB and NICE credit bureaus.
If you have a late payment record, it may affect your credit rating. Even if you repay the overdue amount, the overdue record will not be deleted until a certain period of time, and financial companies use this as a basis for credit rating.
Since the delinquency record is kept for 1 to 5 years from the end of the delinquency repayment, it is recommended to check the delinquency record as soon as possible and repay all delinquent amounts.
AllCredit (KCB Korea Credit View)
After accessing the AllCredit homepage, you can search for your delinquency record at the bottom of the page. However, only 3 free inquiries are available.

Deleting Delinquent Records
Delinquency records are deleted after a certain period of time. To explain it more easily, you can think of it as a delinquency record that is no longer referenced by the financial sector after a certain period of time.
Long-term Short-term Deletion period
Delinquent amount Delinquency period Deletion period
More than 100,000 won, less than 300,000 won Within 30 days 1 year
300,000 won or more within 30 days 3 years
300,000 won or more within 90 days 5 years
If you become delinquent for more than 30 days, your credit score will be reduced, and it will be used for credit information for up to 3 years from the date of repayment. If the delinquency record is not deleted within 30 days, it is called short-term delinquency, and if it is delinquent for more than 90 days, it is called long-term delinquency and is used for credit score evaluation for 5 years.
Long-term delinquent records are registered with the Korea Credit Information Bureau, and in October 21, the government deleted some delinquent records to support credit recovery.
