If a general compressed file is made up of one file, split compression is literally divided into several compressed files, and is often used when problems occur during transmission due to the large capacity. (For example, if the limit is 2MB when sending e-mail, divide a 100MB file into 50 pieces..) Then, let’s look at a very easy way to split and decompress.
Install ALZip

First of all, install “Alzip”, a program that will help you decompress files.
If you have other programs that you personally prefer, you can use them.

First of all, you can see that a total of 8 compressed files from test.vol1 to test.vol8 are located.
The original size of this split-compressed file I created for testing was about 360 MB.
I compressed it into 50MB each, so it was divided into 8 pieces ^^;
When unzipping, there is no need to select all compressed files.
You only need to select any representative file.
And click “Extract to ALZIP”
If you want to make the process simpler
Just click on the menu like “Extract here”.
After specifying the path to unzip to
Click OK.
Can you see the 353MB original unzipped file?
There is no special method because it is a divided compressed file, but you can use it as it was originally decompressed.
