Road Traffic Authority E-Learning Center Senior Driver Education
The Road Traffic Authority provides e-learning-based traffic safety education programs to establish traffic order and contribute to traffic safety in accordance with Article 120 of the Road Traffic Act.

Even so, my father said he needed to receive this education, so I helped him. It seemed a little difficult to do it alone because of his age.
Elderly driver education goals and targets
The senior driver training course is a compulsory education for driver license renewal (aptitude test) for drivers aged 75 and older, and is designed to learn safe driving methods in consideration of changes in the body and cognitive functions due to the natural aging process.

Legal Basis for Elderly Driver Education
In accordance with Article 73, Paragraph 5 of the Road Traffic Act, it is stated that a person aged 75 or older must receive traffic safety education for elderly drivers from the Road Traffic Authority in order to obtain a driver’s license for the first time or to renew a driver’s license.

If you choose one of the three options above, compulsory education will be completed. Before training, you must conduct a dementia test at the Dementia Relief Center (1899-9988) and bring the result sheet.
Online training application and implementation method
1) Log in to the Road Traffic Authority e-learning center and sign up for membership (top right button)
– Requires authentication (mobile phone, I-PIN, card authentication) when registering as a member

Guidelines for completion of school bus education for children: From 2021. 3. 10. (Wed), all school bus operators, drivers, and guardians of children’s school buses can apply for online education.

2) After authentication is complete, enter your name, date of birth, gender, ID, password, and mobile phone number and click the Register button. After registration, you can log in with your ID and password.
3) After logging in, go to the first e-learning center homepage, click [Apply for Senior Driver Training], click the Apply button at the bottom, enter additional information, your resident registration number, and click the Course Registration button.
4) When course registration is completed, you can see the learning status in my classroom, and you can learn through entering the classroom (it consists of a total of 4 sessions, and you must study all sessions to complete the course)
5) During actual training, the following screen is displayed, and when each learning is finished, the screen can be switched with the next page button / When all training is completed, completion details can be checked in the learning status
