A caregiver’s monthly income varies depending on experience, working hours, and conditions. Recently, the number of caregivers continues to rise as the number of caregivers is insufficient and the demand for caregivers increases. (Estimated income is approximately 120,000 to 150,000 won per day.)

In modern society, where the population is aging, the demand for caregivers is increasing. As the elderly population increases, the number of patients with chronic diseases increases, and the need for comprehensive nursing services to care for them is increasing. As caregivers are needed in various fields such as nursing homes, medical facilities, and home care services, the demand for professional workers with caregiver certification is expected to increase in the future. In the long term, nursing services are expected to have stable opportunities and growth potential.

I think many people are wondering whether to acquire a caregiver certification or a nursing care worker certification. Let me briefly explain the differences between the roles of a caregiver and a caregiver.

Caregiver: A privately-licensed caregiver who is generally responsible for assisting patients with their daily lives, managing personal hygiene, helping with meals, and administering medications.
Nursing care worker: With a national professional qualification, the job focuses on maintaining the health and daily life of the elderly.
