In order to purchase cryptocurrency assets such as Bitcoin, you must first deposit KRW into the exchange and purchase the desired cryptocurrency within the exchange.
It is like depositing cash into a brokerage account and purchasing stocks through the brokerage window. 케이뱅크 계좌개설
The largest exchange among domestic cryptocurrency exchanges is Upbit. The advantage of Upbit is that you can log in by linking your KakaoTalk account, and the screen composition of the app and the buying/selling method and steps are simple and convenient.
If you search for Upbit in the Google Play Store and sign up, you can open an Upbit account just like opening a stock account.
Just because you signed up for an Upbit membership, you cannot buy cryptocurrency right away. You need to verify an account that can deposit and withdraw cash through K-Bank, which is collaborating with Upbit. 이베이스매뉴얼
Assuming that you have downloaded the Upbit App and registered as a member, I will show you how to open a K-Bank account and link it with the Upbit App.

How to open a K-Bank account
K-Bank is a non-face-to-face online bank like Kakao Bank. Therefore, it is a bank that is included in the 20-day limit for opening a trading account. If you open a K-Bank account today, you cannot open other non-face-to-face trading accounts for 20 business days. We recommend that you check if you are planning to open another bank non-face-to-face account in the near future and open a K-Bank account.
Search for K-Bank on Google Play and install it. I have already received it and it says update, but if you haven’t installed the app, it will say install.
2. After installing the K-Bank app, sign up for membership.
It consists of three steps.
1) Identity verification
2) Completed membership registration
3) Create a deposit and withdrawal account
3. Authenticate the device (mobile) along with identity authentication.
When you have completed all the sign-up steps, you can
Click “Create Account” to create a general deposit and withdrawal account.
4. When you have completed creating a deposit and withdrawal account, finally select a debit card.
The annual fee is free, and you can choose to receive a physical card or a mobile card (physical X).
I chose the mobile debit card as I will only use it for deposit and withdrawal of Upbit.
In order to prevent a case of being hacked and paying in KRW abroad, I applied for “blocking foreign currency payments.” Safety is always right.
