When I ride the subway, I sometimes find lost bean sprouts and AirPods, but it’s really embarrassing when that happens.

There are two ways to find your AirPods. AirPods are often lost because they are small and hard to hold. Also, if you don’t put it properly in the case, there are many cases where only one side is lost.
When you lose your AirPods at home, we recommend that you try to find several locations and use the following two methods if they are still missing.
2 Ways to Find Your AirPods
1. Find My App
The Find My app is an app that has a Find My AirPods feature. This method can only be done with an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook signed in with an Apple ID.
Android Galaxy phones do not have this app installed.
1. Go down the top bar and search for Find My or find and open the Find My app among applications.

2. Select Devices in the bottom bar and you will see your AirPods in the list.

3. Select the connected AirPods.
You can choose between Play Sound and Path.

Tap Route to get directions to the last location AirPods were connected to.
AirPods cannot see real-time location tracking. The reason is that AirPods do not have a built-in GPS chip.
That’s why you get a message saying no location found.
Press play sound to make sound come out of AirPods.

If you lose only one of your AirPods, you can choose between the left and right sides to make sound. AirPods volume gradually increases over time.
Several conditions are required to use this function.
Settings – Username – Apple ID – Find – Find My iPhone.
Your AirPods must be paired with your iPhone. If pairing is not successful, an error message appears indicating that the sound is on hold.
The pairing must be connected within about 10m. Make sure you have the latest version of ios.

2. ICLOUD
This is the computer way to find it. Access the iCloud installed on Windows or the iCloud home page.
After logging in, click on Find My iPhone – All Devices. After that, it is the same as the first method.
Select your lost AirPods to locate them and mute them.

In case you lose your AirPods, the iPhone has several features. Also, if you set it in case you lose it, it will be easy to find next time.
1. AirPods alarm
iPhone 12 and later models can trigger a notification when the AirPods are removed from the user.

Find My app – Devices – Select AirPods or AirPods Pro – Notifications – Select Notify me when away from you.
2. Lost Mode
For AirPods 3rd generation, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max, you can use the lost mode function.
Lost Mode has three functions. Notify me when found, Lock Find My, and Leave a message.
Lost AirPods Mode
If you turn on Notify When Found, you’ll be notified when someone tries to pair your lost AirPods.
Locking Find My prevents other people from using the Find My feature on the device. Leave a message is a feature that allows you to leave a phone number or email to the person you find.
You can activate Lost Mode by going to Find My – Devices – Select Lost AirPods – Mark as Lost.
AirPods are hard to find if lost. It’s small and white, so you can’t see it. Therefore, it is recommended to activate the functions to find in advance and prepare for them. Learn how to find AirPods.
