Many people in Korea start Taekwondo from childhood. If you acquire a Taekwondo certificate, it is useful in many ways in society. However, since you do not usually use the certificate, you often have to reissue it.
Taekwondo certificates can be used as part of employment qualifications when applying for various jobs such as police officers and firefighters.
Taekwondo certificates are automatically converted to ‘Poom’ before the age of 15 and ‘Dan’ after that. After becoming an adult, you need to convert ‘Poom’ to ‘Dan’.
How to check Taekwondo certificates
1. Go to the Kukkiwon website and log in.

2. Click the ‘Yuppumdan’ search menu in the issuance service.

3. Enter your name and resident registration number, and click the ‘Search’ button to check your certificate.

1. Access with Internet Explorer browser.1
2. Access the homepage as instructed above and log in.
3. Click the Grade Conversion/Certificate/Correction Reissue menu in the Issuance Service menu.

6. Enter the recipient and delivery information, etc. and click the Next button.
