경기도 청소년 교통비 지원The provincial government and the Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation will implement a shared bicycle use and payment service through the Gyeonggi-do integrated transportation platform ‘Ttokta’ app from January 3 next year, and a ‘Youth Shared Bicycle Usage Fee Support Project’ that will provide a 1,000 won discount on the fare to Gyeonggi-do youth. It was announced on the 4th that it would be promoted.

Eom Man-do, head of the Metropolitan Transportation Policy Division, said, “I am very pleased to have kept the promise I made at the joint talk after just over a year.” He added, “We want to reduce the burden of transportation costs on youth and at the same time contribute to the practice of carbon neutrality, and help youth build a sustainable future.” “I look forward to having the opportunity to use more diverse means of transportation.”
Min Kyung-seon, CEO of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, said, “We will give youth living nearby the option of administrative services so that more youth can receive transportation subsidy, and we will strive to provide convenient services through the Dtokta platform.”
Meanwhile, starting in 2020, the province has been providing up to 120,000 won per year to youth in the province when they use public transportation through the ‘Youth Transportation Expense Support Project’.
